 
My Anxiety began in 1997 as Dr. Evil with Frank Lerant (lead vocals-bass gutar), Bill Lerant (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Drew Manzi on the kit and John Frangione on lead guitar. Originally, we were only doing covers playing bars across North Jersey. Around 2000, we began writing our first album and released the self titled album “Dr Evil” in May of 2001. John had left before the project was done replaced by a slammin’ master of the axe – Mike Marvin. One year later, we began a new project and within a year finished our second album "Carnage at Carlson". This was released in September of 2003. Between 2004 and 2006, both Mike and Drew left the band replaced my Jerry Squilante on the drums and Neil Nappi on lead guitar. In 2006, we started our next venture into album # 3 – "The Human Condition" with the new name change for the band to My Anxiety in 2008. In 2009 things ended with the current group and two new people joined the band - first Jeff McKinley on the drums followed by John Rieg on lead guitar. After a brief return of John Frangioine, a strange turn of events has brought back Mike Marvin and Drew Manzi, we are building up a new list of tunes and working our way back onto the curcuit! |
